Eminence Psychiatric and Wellness Center

Wellness & Mental Health

Wellness is more than the absence of illness; it is the presence of vitality, purpose, and genuine connection.

What is Mental Wellness Support?

Mental wellness support at Eminence is designed for individuals who are functioning well but want to invest proactively in their emotional health, building resilience, managing stress, improving relationships, and sustaining long-term wellbeing.

This is not just for people in crisis. Many of our wellness patients are high-functioning individuals who recognize the value of ongoing mental health investment, much like investing in physical fitness or preventive medical care.

Our whole-person approach considers the biological, psychological, social, and, for those who value it, spiritual dimensions of your health. We work with you to design a personalized wellness plan that fits your life.

What We Assess

A Comprehensive Look at Your Whole Person

Mental Health History

We review your complete history of mental health concerns, previous diagnoses, hospitalizations, treatments, and what has worked or not worked for you in the past.

Current Symptoms

We carefully document what you are experiencing today, when it started, how severe it is, and how it is affecting your daily life, relationships, and work.

Medical Background

Physical health, medications, and medical conditions can profoundly affect mental health. We review your complete medical history to identify any contributing factors.

Family History

Genetic and familial patterns play an important role in many psychiatric conditions. Understanding your family history helps us make more accurate diagnoses and better treatment decisions.

Life Circumstances

Work stress, relationship dynamics, trauma history, housing stability, and social support all shape mental health. We explore the full context of your life.

Risk Assessment

We screen compassionately for safety concerns, including thoughts of self-harm, suicidal ideation, and substance use, without judgment, and always in your best interest.

The Process

What to Expect: Step by Step

Request Your Appointment

Complete our secure online intake request or call our office. We respond within one business day and guide you through the next steps.

Complete Your Intake Forms

You will receive secure electronic intake forms covering your health history, current concerns, and insurance information, typically taking 20–30 minutes.

Your Initial Evaluation

Meet with your provider for a comprehensive 60–90 minute evaluation. This is a conversation, not an interrogation. Ask questions, share concerns, and take your time.

Review Findings Together

Your provider shares their clinical impressions, possible diagnoses, and answers your questions. Every finding is explained in plain language.

Receive Your Personalized Care Plan

A treatment plan is developed collaboratively, reflecting your goals, preferences, values, and circumstances. You are an active participant in your own care.

Begin Your Treatment Journey

Whether you need medication, therapy, lifestyle support, or a combination, your treatment begins with your next scheduled appointment.
